Marisa Bruno

Tax Associate

Marisa Bruno is a Tax Associate at Carlin & Associates. Marisa, knowing that she wanted to be an accountant, chose to major in English due to her belief that a huge part of being an accountant is communication, not only with the team you work on, but with clients as well. After she received her Bachelor of Arts in English, General Literature and Rhetoric at Binghamton University in New York. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University.

Marisa started her career at CBIZ Marks Paneth, where she worked in the Commercial Real Estate Group. Here she specialized in partnership and corporation tax return planning and preparation for high-net-worth real estate clients and the preparation of their personal returns. This fueled Marisa’s passion for tax planning and preparation, which she brings to the Carlin & Associates tax practice. Marisa combines her knowledge of business tax planning in order to help individuals take advantage of tax benefits for both their business and personal returns.
